Meet this month's Spotlight Designers, Leanne Tammaro and Adolphina Karachok of Designtheory, Inc. based in Toronto, Ontario.

Capturing the imagination with timeless, luxurious, and inspiring design - this is the credo of Designtheory.

With over 20 years of combined experience, Leanne and Adolphina provide the highest standard in design excellence, space planning, and functional practicality while keeping a close eye on the bottom line. They bring a fresh and current perspective to the field of Interior Design and are driven by the desire to create spaces that reflect their owners in the best way possible. Through working with many of Toronto’s top design firms they developed a strong technical knowledge of materials, architectural details, and finishes, which allowed them to create alluring spaces that define luxury, elegance, and livability.

Their projects include multi-million dollar new residential construction and renovations, vacation homes, office spaces, multi-unit residential, condominium sales centers, and commercial high-rise design and renovation. These experiences, as well as their travels abroad, have helped shape and influence the design possibilities that they foresee for every new space. Designtheory delivers inspired interiors that are, quite simply, exceptional.

Favorite Design Trend: Our favourite design trend is mixing metals and millwork finishes. It's an age-old design debate, but we believe mixing metals and finishes can be done to a stylish effect. When done well, a combination of different metal, millwork, and paint finishes are a great way to achieve an effortless, interesting, and layered look. It is something that we strive to achieve in all of our interior design and decor projects!

Favorite Design Quote: "Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Design is knowing which ones to keep." - Scott Adams To see more work from Designtheory visit their website!
