The power of two is evident in the creative projects produced by Sonoma County designers Martha Channer and Craig Mitchell, a husband-and-wife team who offer dynamic spatial installations combined with traditional Interior Design services. As accomplished fine artists, they bring an original and inspiring aesthetic to the field of contemporary design. Whether commercial or residential, their progressive spatial concepts, careful attention to detail, delicious color palettes, and unusual custom design options create the unique synergy that they refer to as the science of design.

About This Bathroom: Our Glen Ellen clients wished to update their bathroom in an artful and original way and we immediately thought of cast concrete and curves! High-style contemporary design was a requirement for this small scale bathroom, which called for soft edged beauty along with an ergonomic use of space. The solution was the custom curved vanity; a cast concrete top to fit; and a sink orientation change (into the corner) that provided more room to move. In the shower area, we installed a garden window, sparkling glass tiles, and a corner shower seat, which greatly expanded the space along with the clear glass shower enclosure. The final touch was to create a custom piece of art to visually connect the vanity and the shower areas.
