When someone says the word “laundry,” there is an instant sense of dread. People hate doing laundry, and their laundry rooms usually reflect that. Often the laundry room is hidden away from guests, typically in a dark, dingy spot in the basement. But people have the tendency to overlook the world of opportunities for a chic laundry room. We can’t promise that having a stylish laundry room will actually make you enjoy the chore, but if it was a haven of chic cabinets and countertops, you might not mind it as much.

We love this laundry room because even though the space isn’t very large, the all white cabinets, appliances and fixtures make the room feel spacious and cheerful. While most people opt for a stainless steel utility sink in their laundry rooms, vitreous china provides another great option. It is extremely durable, resistant to extreme cold and hot temperatures, stain-free, and chip and scratch resilient from the hardships of daily chores. The sink is easy to clean and will maintain its polished finish for its lifetime. It also gives you a classic country look instead of the modernity you get from stainless steel.

Doing laundry is inevitable; there is no way around it, as long as you want clean clothes. So why not take the opportunity to turn the dreary space into one you enjoy, or at least don’t mind, spending time in?
