Happy New Year! I hope you all had a happy and healthy New Year’s celebration. At the start of each new year, we all decide on changes and resolutions to make for the upcoming months – ways to improve ourselves and our lives. Being in the kitchen and bath industry, we like to keep our finger on the pulse of kitchen and bath trends, and the beginning of each year is the perfect time for that. One of the home trends that caught our attention for 2013 was that antique brass is making a comeback!
Why is that exciting for us?
We’ve always loved an antique brass finish, and a large amount of our fixtures are available in it. Antique Brass gives your fixtures a vintage feel – with the benefits of a new faucet! It’s a breath of fresh air from the squeaky clean look of polished chrome that everyone has sought after, and it still fits right in to your traditional, transitional, or best-farmhouse style kitchen.
Another 2013 that we love is being GREEN! And no, I’m not talking about Pantone’s 2013 color of the year – Emerald Green…I’m talking about GOING green. Nothing can be more trendy than being environmentally friendly, and here at Whitehaus, in 2012 we’ve taken some major steps in putting out ‘GREEN-er’ products.
Our most popular Luxe Collection bath faucets are now lead-free, adding less worry and promoting better water quality for your home. And nothing at Whitehaus could be greener than our eco-friendly Magic Flush® toilets that save the average family up to 10,000 gallons of water per year!
